This wedding, photographed by Wirken Photography, is beyond breathtaking. Filled with the most beautiful blooms in pink, candlelight and smiles, it’s the wedding that just takes your breath away.
Let’s start with one of my favorite bridal photos of all time…
Isn’t her gown everything?
He’s cute too.
The ceremony took place at Our Lady of Sorrows, located in downtown Kansas City.
Bow tie and lavender boutonniere
Moments like this are authentic and memorable.

Megan and Larry spent the day traveling in this classic 1954 Bentley {Pech Limousine}.
and a father daughter moment in front of swank lounge furniture, modern pillows and draping.
I love the smile on dad’s face.
An escort card table welcomes guests – that’s why it should make a statement like this one with blooms at the base.
The reception took place at Mission Hills Country Club, with dinner inside.
The chiavari chairs for the head table were covered in sparkling sheer fabric, setting it apart from the rest of the reception. The head table was filled with a mix of tall and petite grouped centerpieces created by Trapp & Co.
A ranunculus arrangement, gold votives and sequins offer so much ambience!
One of my favorite things at a reception is to alternate centerpieces so that all of the tables are unique. The centerpiece below was created in a box, adding additional interest to the space. The gold rimmed chargers are so pretty, don’t you think?
This is the best.cake.table.ever. The six tier wedding cake is displayed on a table of overflowing flowers –
later used to display Patron favors in adorable bottles!
The posh pups also made an appearance on the groom’s cake.
Nothing sweeter that this.
For dancing, the reception moved outdoors to a clear candlelit tent under the stars which offered a fairytale ending!
And a breathtaking view to end a gorgeous evening beautifully captured by Wirken Photography.
