Peach Buttercream Icing

  • I enjoy icing – all flavors of icing!  Recently, I created a refreshing lemon buttercream that pairs well with chocolate cake.  Today?  Peach buttercream icing to top vanilla cake.  It provides just a hint of peach, a hint of summer!
    2 sticks butter, softened
    3 cups powedered sugar
    4-6 Tbsp peach juice {from canned peaches}
    Beat butter.  Add powdered sugar a cup at a time.  Beat until smooth.  Add 4 Tbsp of peach juice.  You can add up to 6 if the consistency works for what you’re icing!
