As we’re quickly approaching Christmas, I’ve been working diligently on homemade gifts for friends and teachers. Homemade gifts don’t have to be time-consuming. With just a little effort, you can make thoughtful gifts that come together quickly and are greatly appreciated.
I love gifting homemade sugar scrubs, bath milks & salts in canning jars. It’s a quick and easy gift that everyone enjoys. Teachers work so hard, and friends are so caring, and this is the perfect gift to let them indulge in a little self-care.
Today I’m sharing my Orange Clove sugar scrub recipe – the perfect wintery scent! The earthy spice of the clove blends beautifully with the bright sweetness of the orange. It’s a therapeutic aroma that will lift spirits and smell like the festive season.
Other holiday scents that you will love are Vanilla Brown Sugar Scrub and Orange Mint Sugar Scrub. And don’t forget to use this printable gift tag, tied with a pretty ribbon around the jar for the finishing touch.

Hi! How many jars are you able to fill with one run of the recipe? Thanks!
Julie says
This particular recipe is single serve, but you can easily triple it! The general rule of thumb is 1 c of sugar = 1 sugar scrub, however, it depends on your jar size. Enjoy!
