  • Audrey and Seth married June 16, 2012 at Visitation in Kansas City’s South Plaza area.  I love the little dip they did before hopping on the trolley.
    Audrey’s ivory bouquet was filled with ranunculus, garden roses and hydrangea.
    They celebrated their nuptials at The Berg Event Space and were announced coming off the elevator.
    When planning for speeches, I generally prefer to pull those who are speaking, along with the bride and groom, away from the head table so that they can easily be seen by all of the guests.  However, I try not to put them in front of the band or DJ.  A cocktail table is a great place for the maid of honor and best man to toast the couple, allowing them a place to put down their champagne.

    Superman socks with a cape?  Yep!
    Tall and short floral arrangements were mixed throughout the room to add diversity and interest.  Audrey made the mercury glass votives.  Have you seen these before?  They’re so simple.  Click here for diy instructions.

    You can see where the bride gets her vivacious look!  I loved working with her and her mom, Pam.

    Isn’t this sweet?  Flower girl bloomers.

    Ready for this?  Seth and his best man wrote and performed a rock opera for Audrey.  Now that’s love!
    Everyone were waving candles…

    We hung a monogram from the window which cast it’s shadow on the dance floor.  It was  beautiful backdrop to the reception.  For the DIY, click here.  {photo below taken by me}

    The beautiful ruffled cake in Almond {my favorite} was served with a Kate Spade knife and server.

    A framed Audrey Hepburn quote “The best thing to hold onto in life is each other.”

    Sewn kraft card stock and Paper Source design personalized these cd cases…the cd included favorites of the bride and groom, along with the rock opera!

    As you walk into The Berg, there is a large magnetic wall. Using a glitter monogram, engagement photographs and cocktail tables, we filled the wall.  {two photos below taken by me}

    and they lived happily ever after
