Easy Brunch

Yesterday, I hosted an early brunch.  I wanted to keep my Mother’s Day simple, so I selected items that could be prepared ahead of time.  Everything was prepared the night before  to be baked and served in the morning (crust, bacon and cheese were prepared for quiche and mixed with egg and cream in the morning).

Lilacs from our home gathered in a ball jar.
A glass pitcher of orange juice with a small glass of orange juice to the side, garnished with an orange slice.
I made fresh squeezed orange juice to serve with champagne.  After all, what brunch is complete without a mimosa?  Details to come!

Monkey Bread…it doesn’t get any easier, or better than this!  I skipped the pecans.

Quiche Lorraine  Truly phenomenal, however, I recommend purchasing pie dough in liu of making your own.
