In our home, little pots of moss are spotted throughout. They were so easy to make and transitional. Currently, they are filling a terrarium, grouped with a few other pieces on our mantle, and accenting a milestone frame I created for our daughter’s first birthday.
To create pots of moss, rim the inside of a terra cotta pot with hot glue and place styrofoam ball on top. Take a sheet of dried moss and wrap around ball to test. Hot glue inch by inch until ball is covered. Trim around the base of the ball and secure tightly with glue. Fill in any bare spots by dabbing hot glue and a small piece of moss.
