A couple weeks ago, I had the opportunity to attend Alt Summit. It was a whirlwind, but so much fun! Alt is a conference for creative bloggers, so I wanted business “cards” that would stand out. Last Fall, you know, back when the Chiefs were winning, I decided to do a new twist on an “old” favorite & adapt push pop confetti poppers into business cards. Then a few weeks later, I received a push up pop from one of the sponsors. I decided to still go with it, because I was already in love with the idea & how better to relay my brand & “celebrate life” message than through confetti? Alt Summit business cards are a topic of conversation before, during & after Alt, so I wanted mine to stand out.
I wanted these to be a little more luxe than others I had seen & represent my brand. I found gorgeous ribbons at Minted. The variety of textures & colors were everything I dreamed of. I also knew that ribbon would provide a cleaner, more controlled pop.
I used an acrylic push pop stand to hold the handles in place while I spray painted them with Rustoleum Universal spray paint. Doing so also prevented any residue on the base that could scrape off onto the popper. It’s all in the details, right?
And POP! Push pops pop unbelievably well!
To include my information, I had my social media handle @julieblanner printed on ribbon as well as julieblanner.com. I included these with my other ribbons inside & wrapped each popper with gold washi tape & a julieblanner.com ribbon.
You can customize your own for Valentine’s Day or with “congratulations” for beautiful ceremony exit.
