We recently traveled to Concord, Massachusetts to visit friends.  The city holds so much charm and history.  We drove past the Alcott family home where Louisa May Alcott wrote and set Little Women.
A brown house surrounded by trees and various shrubs and flowers.
We enjoyed a morning swimming at Walden Pond where Henry David Thoreau once lived.  Adalyn couldn’t decide if she wanted to play in the sand or swim, but we enjoyed our time there.

Downtown Concord is filled with darling boutiques, florist and all the necessities-hardware store, cheese and wine shop, etc.  My favorite?  Bedford Farms homemade ice cream.  We visited twice for their peach ice cream-it was a dream!
Various vases of red flowers on a side table.
Chris walked up to Authors Ridge in the Sleepy Hollow Cemetery in the rain.  I, however, chose to remain dry in the car.  Surprised?  I didn’t think so!
