Once again this year, I was honored to attend the BHG Stylemaker Workshop & Party. When I received the invitation, it was no question if I would attend. RSVP YES!!! I had so much fun last year getting to know my peers & the team at Better Homes and Gardens. I left feeling so inspired & felt that my content improved as a result of it. I hope you feel that same inspiration this year. I’m taking this beautiful Saturday to share a few photos & tidbits, just in case you’re curious 🙂 If you’re not – I’ll see you Monday for Fall Baking Week. There will be plenty of yum ahead!
Gayle, the editor of Better Homes and Gardens magazine is responsible for keeping the magazine fresh. As I flip through each page every month, I forget that the magazine is nearly 100 years old! {See me on the far right?}
There I am in the front row, next to a blushing Michael. We had entirely too many laughs on this trip! If you’re not familiar with his blog, you will get lost in endless inspiration of do-it-yourself projects, simple styling tips & amazing recipes.
The food editor, Nancy, taught 2 of the workshops I attended this year. She’s also great for a laugh, food trends & styling tips. She inspired my 5 minute centerpiece when I attended the BHG Style Showcase last month. I had the opportunity to attend several classes taught by editors, make new friends & catch up with others!
Just a few members of the BHG team that make it so fabulous!
We had the opportunity to meet phenomenal influencers like Elaine Griffin from American Dream Builders & Monica Pedersen, author of “Make it Beautiful” & HGTV host.
Thank you to the editors & staff of Better Homes and Gardens for including me & to the sponsors, Minted, Kerry Gold, Pier 1, Lee, & Vanity Fair for making the event possible.
See you Monday! Have a beautiful weekend!
Julie
