  • I have been busy the last couple of weeks creating a bench seat for Adalyn’s window {diy later this week}, redecorating/furnishing our hearth room, redoing our living room and of course, planning several Fall weddings and events and of course, enjoying time with my family.  I look forward to sharing each with you soon!  Today, I’m keeping is simple and sharing this easy, but unique gift idea.  Sometimes a little phrase pops into my head in the middle of the night, I wake to write it down and it inspires a gift.  This gift has been a favorite of mine since we received a handprint kit from Chris’ aunt and uncle.  Those little hands and feet don’t stay tiny forever, but they leave long lasting impressions on our heart.  I have incorporated the girls’ into their bedroom decor.
Last October, I planned and designed Kim and Dave’s beautiful wedding…this October, they’re expecting a little one!  I wanted to give them something unique, practical and memorable.  The handprint kit immediately came to mind.  It’s not something they’re likely to receive multiples of, it’s not something that is needed {sorry, I don’t like to go that practical!}, but something they can keep forever.

The note card reads, “Can’t wait to see the mark Baby leaves on the world.”  Did I mention I also can’t wait to hear if they’re having a boy or a girl?  I made the gift tag using my favorite card stock {luxe from Paper Source} and Microsoft Word clip art.
As you notice, I rarely wrap my gifts. A simple bow is often my favorite, but if not, use a basket or jar.  To purchase, click here.

Do you have any favorite baby gift ideas?
