When entertaining a lot of guests, I’ll often offer a signature drink so that I don’t spend the night at “the bar” mixing cocktails. It’s a great way to kick off the evening, while you’re putting the finishing touches on hors d’oeuvres or dinner.

I love creating winter cocktails! This Amaretto Snowball recipe is a great one, as well as my Merry mint cocktail and a cinnamon toast. You’ve also got to try my mulled wine and Homemade Apple Cider and Pear Cider!

This apple pear Prosecco cocktail is really easy to drink, making it a great addition for brunch, lunch or dinner. Since it’s half and half (half juice, half wine) you also don’t have to worry about guests going overboard or those who only drink during the holidays.

Consider it a kind of sparkling sangria that will have guests requesting the recipe.

Easy 3 ingredient Christmas cocktail - a sparkling sangria

Apple Pear Prosecco Cocktail Ingredients

  • Pear nectar – chilled
  • Apple cider – chilled
  • Sparkling wine – chilled. I used Rustico Prosecco, but you can use any of your favorite sparkling wines.

How to Make this Cocktail

  1. Combine nectar and cider. Stir.
  2. Slowly add sparkling wine and serve chilled.

Tips

  • Switch the Prosecco out with sparkling grape juice for a non-alcoholic cocktail.
  • Fresh Juice – I’m always a fan of a shortcut (store bought juice works just fine and this recipe notes that) but fresh squeezed juice is great and can be worth the extra step!
  • Use the best quality Champagne or Prosecco you can find.
