The belly-ni is my signature Non-Alcoholic Bellini cocktail recipe that is so perfect for baby showers. Easy to make, you can set up a bar for guests to help themselves to their favorite flavor combinations or serve them individually as guests arrive.

Signature cocktails don’t have to include alcohol. I wanted something other than the traditional punch for Becky’s sprinkle, so I set up a little belly-ni bar. Who doesn’t love a little sparkle? Be sure to check out my Tips for Hosting a Shower for more great ideas!
Bellinis are a classic cocktail that are perfect for brunches or afternoon get togethers with the girls. If you are looking for a more boozy drink, you can of course make these alcoholic version. Simply substitute the grape juice for champagne or Prosecco!
These baby shower drinks are so light and refreshing and they are especially perfect if you are hosting a spring or summer shower. Decorate the bar with some cute flowers, add some cute themed stirrers and a handwritten note on how to make them with a jigger. The girls had so much fun making their own.

Non-Alcoholic Cocktail Ingredients

  • Sparkling Grape Juice – I prefer to use white grape juice for these mocktails, but you can also serve red for more variety.
  • Nectar – For my bar, I offered mango, pear & apricot…all 3 were delicious! Nectar is thicker than juice and offers a wonderful fruity base.
  • Lemonade – I used clear lemonade. You can use your favorite brand and also try cloudy.

How To Make This Signature Mocktail

  1. Add lemonade and nectar to glass.
  2. Top with sparkling grape juice.

Tips

  • I like to use store bought nectars for ease, but you can easily make your own buy blending fresh fruits together and then keep it covered in the fridge until you are ready to serve.
  • To keep the grape juice chilled, add it to a large bottle and keep it in an ice bucket on the bar or keep it in the fridge between pours.
  • If you do what I did and make a bar, you can set up the ingredients in different jugs with glasses and cute stirrers so everyone can help themselves. It’s really fun way to get everyone to mingle!

Make Ahead?

It’s best not to make these too far ahead of time so that the grape juice keeps it’s sparkle. I like to lay everything out just before people arrive. You can place the nectars and lemonade into jugs ahead of time, and if you are serving them individually you can add the nectar and lemonade to the glasses before guests arrive and then just top up with the grape juice as you serve them.
