  • Campbell's creamy parmesan skillet sauce

Dinner just became a whole lot easier. While at the store for miscellaneous things, I was brainstorming what to make for dinner. With Christmas just a week away, I knew I’d be pressed for time and wanted to make something everyone in our family will enjoy. I came across a new flavor {or at least new to my store} of Campbell’s skillet sauce – creamy parmesan. As an alfredo lover, I had to give it a try. The girls and I love pasta, so I made fettuccine and balanced it by adding chicken, bacon and peas – making it an easy pasta carbonara. The chicken was incredibly tender and the sauce was thick and creamy. In just 15 minutes, dinner was on the table.

    Ingredients

    • 1 Campbell's Creamy Parmesan Skillet Sauce
    • 2 boneless skinless chicken breasts
    • 1 Tbsp olive oil
    • 1 can peas drained
    • 2 Tbsp real bacon pieces
    • 1 box fettuccine noodles

    Instructions

    1. Boil a large pot of water and prepare noodles.
    2. In a skillet, heat oil on medium heat.
    3. Add chicken breasts, coat and allow them to brown on each side {about 5 minutes}.
    4. Add skillet sauce, peas and bacon pieces. Bring to a boil, then reduce to low & cover and cook for 5-7 minutes, until chicken is cooked through.
    5. Remove chicken breast and slice thin.
    6. Pour remaining sauce mixture over drained noodles and serve with chicken on top.
