To fold a thousand oragami cranes is quite the feat, as is marriage, making this tradition especially powerful. Local realtor Miki Jarrett and singer Drew of Drew 6 are incorporating this unique tradition in their March ceremony in Japan.

What traditions are you incorporating?

Michael and April married June 19th in Kansas City and while the rainy day may have altered a few plans, it certainly didn’t alter their spirit.

Bridesmaids carried bouts of lavender.  Oh, how I love the scent of fresh lavender!

This wedding was full of Asian flare including custom chopsticks and personalized fortune cookies.

PF Changs was served on an eclectic mix of china.

Family and friends joined the bride and groom in folding 1000 paper cranes for good luck.  They were integrated into the decor and placed throughout the Arts Incubator event space.

Guests enjoyed boothBOOTH.  A traditional photo booth that is as fun as it looks!
