Living Room Decor

Before I make any large decor purchases, I like to create a board of my ideas to ensure they correlate well first.  For our living room, I plan to incorporate 2-3 new chairs, a couch, lamp and large rug along with our coveted trunk coffee table that stores all of Adalyn’s toys and books.

What do you think of the mix of greys, browns and tans?  I created the color palette below to contemplate.

Living Room Decor

This is my family and where we spend the majority of our time.  This room was designed for function and comfort.  Our coffee and end tables store our little one’s toys.  We love for her to enjoy her toys, but I didn’t want them to consume our home and space.

Our shelves hold mementos in various forms.  A few of my favorites-a childhood photograph of my mother, wine cork art my husband created from bottles of wine we shared, a 1904 Worlds Fair napkin ring {wedding gift given to us, we married in the World’s Fair Pavilion in St. Louis} and a 1904 World’s Fair cookbook of my Grandmother’s.
What is your favorite piece in your living room and why?
