Easy Aglio e Olio Recipe

Aglio e Olio is a great 10 minute pasta that costs under $5 to serve a family of 4.  It largely uses staples in your home!
In a large pot, boil water and cook spaghetti according to package.  I used whole wheat.  Taste to ensure it’s cooked al dente.  In a saucepan on low add:
1/3 c olive oil
1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
6 cloves fresh minced garlic {you can adjust depending on your taste}
Once pasta is cooked, add 1 cup of pasta water to sauce.  Stir.  Drain pasta and dish.  Spoon sauce over pasta garnishing with a little parsley and parmesan.
This dish also makes a great base for shrimp!
